These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Hines Law mobile application (“App”). By accessing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

The App allows Hines Law clients to:

• Access case updates
• Send and receive messages with case managers
• Schedule and manage appointments
• Read educational content
• Receive announcements and notifications
• The App does not replace legal advice or attorney-client communication through official channels.

To use the App, you must:

• Be an existing or prospective client of Hines Law
• Provide accurate personal information
• Be able to receive OTP authentication via mobile phone

You agree to:

• Keep your login credentials secure
• Provide accurate and updated information
• Use the App for lawful purposes only
• Avoid unauthorized access or data scraping
• Not impersonate another user or Hines Law staff
• You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account.

SMS Terms & Conditions

• By providing your mobile phone number and using the Hines Law platform, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages related to:
  • Account authentication
  • Login verification
  • One-Time Passwords (OTP)
  • Security notifications
• Message frequency may vary.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to opt out of SMS communications.
• Reply HELP for assistance.
• Consent to receive SMS messages is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Information in the App is general and educational in nature.
Specific legal advice must be obtained directly from your attorney or case manager.

The App relies on Filevine’s API for case data and messaging.
Hines Law is not responsible for outages, delays, or errors originating from Filevine’s platform.

The App, CMS, design, text, articles, code, and branding are owned by Hines Law or its licensors.
You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any portion without prior written permission.

We may suspend or terminate your account for:

• Violating these Terms
• Fraudulent or abusive behavior
• Security threats
• Inactivity
• Legal or regulatory requirements
• You may request account deletion at any time in accordance with the Delete Account Policy.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• The App is provided “as is” and “as available.”
• Hines Law is not liable for technical errors, outages, lost data, or damages resulting from App use.
• Hines Law does not guarantee availability, accuracy of data, or uninterrupted service.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hines Law from any claims arising from:

• Your misuse of the App
• Violations of these Terms
• Actions taken using your account

The App may link to or integrate with third-party services, including:

• Filevine
• Video conferencing platforms
• Social media channels
• SMS and email providers

Hines Law is not responsible for third-party content or services.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.

We may modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted within the App. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
